Installation & Support

Downloading and installing Vizard

1. Go to the Vizard download page.

2. Click the download button for the latest version of Vizard you see listed.

3. To download Vizard, you must supply minimum contact information so that an automated system can immediately send you an email which will include a link letting you download the software. Fill out the required information and press the Submit button.

4. Within seconds, you will receive an email with complete instructions for downloading Vizard.

Minimum System Requirements

While nearly any recently purchased desktop and most laptops more than meet the requirements, here are the absolute minimums needed to run Vizard:

• Windows 7 or above

• Pentium processor at 1 GHz or higher (Recommended: Dual Core 2 GHz or higher)

• OpenGL compatible graphics card (Recommended: nVidia GeForce 6 series with 128 MB or greater)

• 1 GB RAM (Recommended: 2 GB RAM or greater)

• 400 MB hard drive space

Recommended Graphics Hardware & Drivers

Vizard only requires that you have an OpenGL software driver which is standard in all Microsoft operating systems.  However, to obtain high-speed graphics performance, you will need display hardware specialized for 3D graphics.  The following hardware have been verified to work with Vizard:

Desktop system cards:

• nVidia

• AMD

Laptop system hardware:

• nVidia based graphics adapter

Free License

The free license grants you unlimited use of Vizard for evaluation purposes only.  The software is identical to the licensed version with a few exceptions:

• A watermark is rendered to the output screen.

• Scripts will automatically exit after 5 minutes of running.

• Plug-ins created with the Vizard SDK are not supported

Lite License

The Lite license grants you unlimited use of Vizard for classroom use only.  It requires a minimum of 10 Lite licenses per setup. The software is identical to the licensed version with a few exceptions:

• A watermark is rendered to the output screen.

• Plug-ins created with the Vizard SDK are not supported
