To play a scene, double-click the scene thumbnail within the scene browser. If the scene contains any assets that do not exist on the server, then they will need be synced to the server before playback can begin. Syncing can take a few minutes for large assets, however this is a one-time operation and subsequent playbacks will not require syncing. To stop the session, click the back button in the navigation bar to go back to the scene browser.
The main scene playback panel contains the following controls:
The Ambient Audio panel displays a list of all the ambient audio items in the scene. Audio that is currently playing will be highlighted. Clicking an item will toggle between playing/pausing the audio.
The Triggers panel displays a list of all triggers in the scene. Triggers that have been activated will be highlighted. Clicking a trigger item will toggle between activating/deactivating the trigger. If a newly activated trigger overlaps any existing activated triggers, the existing activated trigger will automatically be deactivated. For participants, triggers can be deactivated by tapping the trigger icon or tapping the area immediately outside the popup image/video.
For 360 videos, triggers that are moved offscreen will be disabled and cannot be activated. Offscreen triggers will change color to indicate they are disabled as seen below:
The Lighting panel allows adjusting the ambient lights during the session. The lighting controls are identical to the controls within the scene editor. Changes made to lighting during the session are not permanent, so playing the scene again will restore the lighting to the initial values. To permanently change the lighting, you must save changes from the page menu.
Changes made to the scene during a session can be optionally saved for subsequent sessions. To do so, click the PRISM logo in the navigation bar and select Save Changes while the scene is playing to save the current changes to the database. The following changes will be saved:
